The Motor Vehicle Policy Manual (MOVES) was developed by Alberta Registries to serve as a primary reference document for Alberta Registries staff and Registry Agent staff members.

Policy development is a dynamic ongoing process.  Legislative changes, amended regulations, developing issues and emerging needs give rise to the continuing need to develop new policies or to revise existing ones.  In an effort to keep the policy manual accurate and current, Alberta Registries has chosen to publish the manual in electronic format.  Policy changes will be recorded in the Revision History.
