4.65.01 Kit Cars
Policy
A kit car is a motor vehicle manufactured to resemble a particular make and model, e.g., MG, Excalibur, etc.
There are two kinds of kit:
- Replicar
A vehicle constructed of entirely new components. - Replikit
A vehicle constructed with used components.
Vehicle Description
To register a kit car, the vehicle description fields on MOVES must be entered as follows:

Registration Requirements
Registration requirements depend on the plate class in which the vehicle is registered. See the appropriate registration class section for details, e.g., 3-pass, etc.
Registration Fees
Registration fees are dependant on the licence plate class issued, see the Registry Agent Product Catalogue (pdf).
