Policy

A converted bus includes buses converted for:

• Personal use.
• Recreational use.
• Office use.
• Employee accommodations.

To register a converted bus, the vehicle style on MOVES must be entered as “utility”.

If a client registers a converted school bus, the words “School Bus,” all alternating flashing warning lamps, and the stop arm must be removed.

Registration Requirements

Plate class and registration requirements are determined by the use of the vehicle.  See the appropriate registration class section for details, e.g., 3-pass, 2-59, etc.

Registration Fees

Registration fees are dependant on the licence plate class issued, see the Registry Agent Product Catalogue (pdf).
